For those gravel trail cycling aficionados we now offer easy access to some of the newest mapped gravel trails in our region.
In the fall of 2025 Destination by Design, with funding provided by Partner Community Capital’s Rural Economic Initiatives, completed the mapping of 12 new gravel trail cycling routes in Morgan County.
Four of these new gravel trail cycling routes begin and end at the historic Paw Paw B&O Train Depot – just two minutes from the McBee House – and a fifth takes cyclists from Paw Paw to Stoney Creek around Spring Gap Mountain.
Book a couple days at the McBee House and explore these amazing gravel trail rides.
- Magnolia Loop – distance: 18.2 miles, elevation change: 1,107 ft
- Okonoko Loop – distance: 22.8 miles, elevation change: 2,025 ft
- Sideling Hill Loop – distance: 27.1 miles, elevation change: 2,511 ft
- Seldom Seen Loop – distance: 21.9 miles, elevation change: 2,216 ft
- Paw Paw to Stoney Creek – distance: 31.8 miles, elevation change: 3,311 ft
